Mr. Louis Seize is a business manager with over
15 years of experience. Prior to forming Contract CFO Inc., Mr. Louis Seize was President and acting CFO of Messer Canada/Respircare,
a leader in the industrial gas and healthcare industries, with more than 250 employees
and $46 million in revenue. During his tenure as President, Mr. Louis Seize doubled sales and returned the company
to profitability. This was done after a reengineering process that took less than a year to accomplish, in which Mr. Louis Seize played a key role.
Mr. Louis Seize was also involved in a major IT implementation and several waste management projects that resulted in the reduction of waste by more
than a million dollars. Mr. Louis Seize was instrumental
in improving the management reporting of the corporation by introducing a management scorecard, which enabled managers at all levels to focus on the key aspects
of the business. During his appointment, Mr. Louis Seize opened several new stores, acquired new businesses and also
divested several operations.
Prior to this, Mr. Louis Seize was employed by Tembec Inc., initially as controller and later as a reengineering specialist. Mr. Louis Seize also worked for Concert Fabrication Inc. from its inception, where he developed and implemented the accounting and costing systems. As well, he set up the company's banking relationships and the export processes and procedures. Mr. Louis Seize holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a specialty in accounting, from the University of Quebec. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1988 and a member of the Certified Management Accountants Institute since 1988. |
