Mr. Duquette is a professional with over 15 years of
experience in accounting, finance and administration.
His work experience in senior financial roles in the high technology and construction industries has provided him with the skills to operate and perform in fast paced,
growing and ever changing environments.
Before founding Contract CFO Inc., Mr. Duquette was the Vice-President, Finance and Corporate Controller of G & A Imaging Ltd., a leader in developing and publishing software that catalogues and manages digital images. During his tenure at G & A Imaging, the company expanded over a five-year period from a small operation based in Hull, Quebec to a multinational corporation with subsidiaries in Germany, Singapore and the United States. He was responsible for the management of all accounting, administrative, manufacturing and shipping operations including the preparation of monthly consolidated financial reporting, annual consolidated operating budgets, management of cash flow operations and foreign currency. In addition to ensuring that G & A Imaging met all its financial reporting and tax compliance requirements, he was an integral member of a team that completed the process of securing a $5 million private equity investment. Prior to this, Mr. Duquette was controller for J. R. Lafontaine Construction Inc. and its affiliates with activities in residential and commercial construction, land development, commercial rental properties, retail and leisure markets. Mr. Duquette holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a specialty in accounting, from the University of Quebec. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1988. |
